Bone-A-Fide Pet Boutique began operation as Bone-A-Fide Bakery in 2003 by the previous owner Sandi Rector. Sandi started the bakery in a bed and breakfast that she previously operated. In 2004, Bone-A-Fide Bakery moved to a small space in Cherry Street Square and it soon became a popular place for furry friends to visit and buy hand-baked treats - so popular, that it grew out of the space that it was in and into the location that we have today – right next door.
In April of 2012, I became the new owner of Bone-A-Fide Pet Boutique. Sadly, Sandi passed away in June of the same year but left a great legacy behind, one that I hope, we continue today by continuing to be contributing members of our local community, focusing our efforts with the local animal shelter, local rescue organizations and special events. This includes donating food as well as collecting monetary contributions and other items on their behalf. We also host adoption events to help these organizations adopt out pets to their forever homes.
We strive to provide specialized attention to all of our customers, whether it is measuring a dog for a new harness or helping a strong chewer pick out the right chew toy. My staff and I are all pet owners and our goal is to create a warm, fun environment for all of our customers, both two and four-legged ones.
